The Jev model classifies scientific publications to pre-filter content, saving costs and improving processing speed before further analysis with LLMs.
I'm now using Jev model from @typesafeai to classify scientific publications before starting processing them with LLMs to extract claims.
Before Jev: I would spend money on expensive normalization to markdown, detection of genetic variants and other steps without knowing the organism in advance and if the paper even has mutations studied.
Lots of processed papers was just waste of money.
With Jev, I can now pre-filter content and this saves money and speeds things up.
