Jev is a new decision-only AI model from @typesafeai.
Give Jev some text with closed questions, and it returns typed answers with probabilities (pick one option, score something, or yes/no).
Jev answers in ~70–500 ms and costs about $0.042 per million input tokens, with output free, which makes it much faster and cheaper than using GPT/Claude for the same routing/classification job.
➜ Mike Taylor ran 777 writing checks across 37 documents in under 0.7 seconds.
➜ MindStudio classified 1,000 emails in roughly 6 seconds, for around 9 cents.
➜ Another test ran ~16,000 calls on short-text classification and found Jev competitive with small GPT models, while high-confidence answers were often 90–100% accurate.
➜ A Japanese engineer pushed ~28k requests through it and was still seeing roughly 98–239ms response times, even when packing multiple decisions into a call.
And so many other testimonies.
It launched 6 days ago and there are only two crypto projects (that I know of) that have integrated it into their platform:
